---UPDATE---
Ok so thank God I was able to figure out that it has been saving videos and photos to my iPad but for some reason I can not view them in the Free Flight 2.0 application. The Lord showed me that they are accessible via the Photos app built in with iOS and for some reason both the videos and picture are in that same Photos app. Now why the Free Flight 2.0 app is not allowing me to view them within the app I dont know. I was thinking maybe because I don't allow the app to have access to my location it is also preventing it from accessing other parts of my iPad like where the videos and pictures are stored.
Whatever the reason I do feel like the new Free Flight 2.0 application for iOS is perhaps buggy and might need some more debugging with updates before we really can take advantage of this new hardware in the AR Drone 2.0, etc. because so far I have experienced 2 seperate problems with trying to record video and take photos like the one previously mentioned and also it not recording or even recognizing my USB drive.
Some of the features that I would love to see fixed and added are the whole recording video issues to the iPad and USB drive, ability to have access to the USB drive within the Free Flight app, the film making features that were originally advertised when it was first announced (like crane, tavelling, pan, etc.), and most importantly, i would LOVE to see Parrot release some type of hardware device that we could perhaps attach to the AR Drone or maybe even plug into the USB port to allow it to be able to use a 2.4GHz radio transmitter to control it instead of of using an iOS or Android device. I know there are already some hacks and at least one plug and play device that will enable this but I would really love to see Parrot release an official hardware device covered under warranty, etc.
Please Parrot, no offense and not to be rude but please help us to debug and fix these and any other issues within all the software that you have released so that we all can fully take advantage and have fun with this new hardware instead of getting frustrated and wanting to return or sell your products away. It seems like the new AR.Drone 2.0 is capable of being a great drone however as of right now it looks like the software is really holding it back.
Thanks.
