Topic: Original Ar Drone loosing connection very close

Every time I fly my Drone, it looses connection within a foot, then it regains control, and crashes. I bought the 2.0 Drone and it works perfectly! But its a shame I have the Drone 1.0 as a 300$ paper weight and I want me and my friend to be able to fly together. I  have tried mltiple devices to control with, Drone still has problem, tried resetting it, and different control apps... all same connection problem...

Please help me, open to anything

Ar Drone 2.0 -Firmware- 2.1.3
Ar Drone 1.0 -Firmware- 1.7.4
Samsung Galaxy Nexus- JellyBean 4.1.1
iPhone 4S and iPad 2- iOS 5.0.1 Jailbroken

you could try a different firmware version on the drone itself?  smile

I dont think that will work, ive had it since it was 1.4.7 Firmware.. sad

Ive always had a problem with the 1.0 about 1 foot of the ground. the ultra sonic sensors go crazy and make it start dancing. perhaps you have a fault within the ultra sonic's if you've had it since 1.4.7  sad
