Topic: AR Flight 2.0.1 not running on iPad 2

I just got my new AR Drone 2.0 yesterday. When I installed the AR Freeflight app on my iPhone 4s, it runs ok.

Problem is I want to use my iPad 2 to control it, and when I installed the app, it crashes when it tries to open. I reinstalled it serveral times and still get the same problem. I tried disabling "location services" for that app, but it still won't run. My iPad is running IOS 5.1

Any suggestions?

i am having the same prob. connected once, crashed and now wont link up. why?

I am having this problem all the time too.  Although, I just keep trying to start the application over and over again until it loads up and then seems to run fine after this.  I would estimate that it takes 3 times for everytime I go to run the AR.Drone 2.0 with IPAD2 and the latest version of AR. Free Flight 2.0.

Is this a similiar issue or you can never open the app no matter how many times you press the button to open it?

Of course once the app is open then you can only press Piloting if you have a wifi connection to it from the IPAD 2.

If not go into settings->wifi->choose a network and find the ardrone in the list and connect to it and do this process all over again.

I am having problem. I used IPad 2 with iOS5.1.1, can't connected or detect wifi of ardrone2.0 , why ?
