Even though USB Record and Auto Record were both enabled, none of the video was recorded.

I got the video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Somewhere in one of these forums, someone stated that if a video didn't show up on the usb stick, the operator should stick in back into the drone, make a brief recording of anything, then stop it.  Once the video finished processing, the new and old video would appear on the stick.  Whoever he was, he was apparently correct.

After my crash I tried to find my video but it was no where to be found.  After I got my replacement drone, I made a few recordings; nothing important.  Two days ago, I needed that particular usb stick for a different purpose.  It had about 9 or 10 videos on it.  Before deleting them, I decided to check them out.  Lo and behold, my crash video was on there.  It can be seen at:
http://youtu.be/Y7UrboT96Cg

In the video, I pan the horizon a few times, then as it begins to flip and fall, a bright white object can be seen in the sky.  It's not seen in any of the earlier footage while I'm panning the horizon.  What is that!!!  Is it Jupiter?  Venus?  Is it a UFO?  Did the Air Force shoot down my drone?  Was it Al Qaida?  I don't know.  I'll leave that up to you Ufologist and conspiracy theorists.   big_smile

But I have to admit, I did play it over and over trying to find out.

Re: All I wanted was a nice panoramic video of the sunrise....

Breaking story:

Video has been released of a mysterious drone incident showing a high tech unmanned rotor craft falling from the sky for no apparent reason... in earlier interviews we covered right here on august 7th, the operator of said craft maintained he was not at fault for the accident as he was "just trying to get a panorama of the sunrise"

New evidence has surfaced of an object in the sky that may be to blame for the horrible crash... when contacted, Parrot officers confirmed " these UFO's have been knocking drones out of the sky in 11 different countries. It certainly isn't our questionable software causing these problems!"

Below are screen captures of the object in question... is it a meteor?? Could it be aliens??.......YOU BE THE JUDGE!!

That's an intersteller extra-dimensional zero point energy craft if I've ever seen one(equipped with drone destroying antiparticle beam of course). They're apparently angry at the lack of android updates. Who knew.

Hey Sooner, I believe that you are absolutely correct!  Upon closer inspection of the video, it is evident that at the 3:05 - 3:10 timeframe, the drone started receiving phaser fire.  Fortunatetly the drone's deflector shields were enough to protect the craft.  This appears to have frustrated the Intersellar visitors.  So it appears that at approximately 3:35 they decided to use the big guns; they unleashed the anti-particle beam.   There's just no other explanation.  It certainly wasn't a faulty firmware upgrade.

firmware? I thought this thing ran on pixie dust and you just had to believe it would fly. Obviously we all have problems in faith  tongue
