i have just bought a minikit slim series and it wont let me pair with my htc wildfire. any ideas

Before pairing put the Minikit Slim into a special mode: to activate this press the GREEN and CENTRE button together, you will hear "Please pair device" now search from your phone and enter the PIN code 1234.
