Topic: Android Pairing, but not connecting?

Hi I have a Huawei u8800 Ideos x5 running Android 2.2. I can get the phone to pair to the CK3000 Evo but not connect is there a way to get the phone to connect or am I wasting my time any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Android Pairing, but not connecting?

Hi,

I'm afraid this phone is not yet listed as compatible, however check the software on your CK3000 Evolution, this is displayed in the Bluetooth name e.g. Parrot v5.**

We made improvements for Android 2.2 devices in v5.25 so if you are not running this I would recommend updating.

To update, you will need a specific Parrot Software update cable and a PC (preferably a laptop) running Windows XP/Vista and our Parrot update tool software http://www.parrot.com/uk/support/downloads

A serial cable can be purchased to do this yourself if you wish, alternatively if you visit our website and select ‘find your nearest certified installer’ the nearest certified installer in your area will be detailed.  They will gladly advise how they can assist with the update.

Re: Android Pairing, but not connecting?

Any idea when the Xperia Neo V will be compatible please?

Re: Android Pairing, but not connecting?

Hi,

As new phones are released on to the market we carry out full compatibility tests with the device and if we are happy with functionality we list the devices on our website (link below). If functionality needs to be improved we will look at this and endeavour to resolve by means of a software update. However, I do not have a timeline for this.

Keep an eye on the Parrot UK website for any news.

Re: Android Pairing, but not connecting?

Hi,

Only way stop the Parrot CK3000 from turning on all the time would be to disconnect the power supplies.

I have also trouble with Xperia Neo V.
I am very frustrated from CK3000's compatibility with this model!

After I have successfully paired and connected my SE Xperia Neo V (that is Sony Ericsson MT11i model number), I realized that the Green and Red buttons do not work.

I can only handle calls (hung up and call functions) through my phone's buttons (very dangerous during drive).
Voice commands and magic keywords also don't work!

I currently run version 5.11 but as far as I know, the specific model is not listed in the compatibility list of manufacturer, even for version 5.25!

I'd like to know when the CK3000 Evolution will be compatible with Xperia Neo V.

Xperia Neo V is a very successful model and cannot be out of your compatibility list.
There are already many disatisfied customers.

My best regards.
