Topic: SK4000 freezes, red led on

Hi everyone!

I am having realy big problems with two of the first sk4000-s we've bought.
Every now and then the unit freezes: the led turns to red - don't switches off, and the unit doesn't work at all. After the battery run out completly and it is getting charged again, works ok...

Both devices has the same problem. Please reply with information, is it a general problem -maybe software- or we're just unlucky. Anybody - any suggestions?

Neather Parrot technical didn't answered although as it is written above, I've sent an e-mail to technical.uk@parrot.com
Perhaps there is no solution, other then exchanging the unit...?

Eather way, I would appreciate if they'd answer sad

I am having the same problem.  After riding, I held the power button down to turn off the unit.  When I got indside I noticed the red LED was on steady.  It would not power down.  I removed the unit from my helmet and plugged it into the charger, thinking it was a low battery indication.  The light stayed on while charging, and after removal from the charger.  The red light is still staring at me!

When I connect to the helmet, I can hear the source "click" when I press the button on the unit and on the remote, but otherwise silence.  I am waiting for the battery to die since I am out of ideas.

It's happened once or twice for me. Annoying and potentially bad for the battery, I would imagine. There is no reset hole! I was all ready for a long ride when this first happened to me. sad

u need to open it unplug battery then plug it in again only way of doing it uless you wait for it to die
