Topic: Peugeot 207 with Unika

I am wanting to fit the Unika to my Peugeot 207 which I have had a MKI 9200 fitted. What I would like to know is does it involve disconnecting my radio to do it (worried that i will need to get the radio decoded). I also want to know how do you use the control stalk to control the normal radio if your parrot is connected?

Re: Peugeot 207 with Unika

Hi,
For the Peugeot, you will need to disconnect the Power ISO.
Normally, on Peugeot , their is no code on the Radio.

The Command for the radio does'nt change at all.

Re: Peugeot 207 with Unika

I've ordered the Unika and downloaded the installation instructions and its not exactly clear what needs to be done to fit it. I have the MKI9200 and the system is fully working and my car a Peugeot 207 is CANBUS. I see that I need to set the DIP switches on the Unika and plug it into the blue box but the bit about the power supply isn't clear.

Re: Peugeot 207 with Unika

Well this morning I managed to get the Unika working wasn't too hard to wire in however!!!! As people have reported the controls seems back to front for up and down tracks etc. I also have another major problem. I have wired my MKI 9200 so that it uses my line input of my Peugeot Stereo (because the parrots built in amp is pants). The problem is that when my stereo is on (needs to be to use the line input to power the speakers) the steering wheel control now controls the parrot and stereo at the same time. Which is highly comical at first then you realise that you have a £100 box withs loads of wires that ain't much good until I can think of a work around.

Any ideas people? I don't want to go back to using the parrots internal amp because the sound quality at high levels is pants. Has anyone else had similar problems installing the Unika?

Re: Peugeot 207 with Unika

Does the mute has been wired on the radio? It may be the solution.
