On the web, do not appear, mobile phones compatible with the Parrot MK6100 / MK6000.

For years the Parrot MK6100 / MK6000 not receive firmware updates.

Why does this happen with Parrot MK6100 / MK6000? The CK 3xxx are much older and have support and updates.

I talked to tech support and they told me to try use a line in input.  I completely removed the unit and now installed it with the Line In right and line in left connected to the CD Changer input (and a speaker level (front left speaker) connected to the Phone Inputs (located on the came 10 pin connector as the cd changer input).  I now get no audio what's so ever, when I hit CD I get a "No Disc Detected" error, and when I make a call, I get no audio at all.

I am excited about getting this working, but am quite frustrated.  Help!

I'm planning to buy MK9100 KIT for my cruiser but i have few questions to you to ask since i will buy it from UAE, I'm having TOYOTA 2009 FJ CRUISER

1- Is the factory radio will remain fully operational after complete installation of the kit ?
2- Is the adapter PC000005AA enough to install it without any elimination of the factory radio or do you have any suggestion or better adapters?
3- i have 8 speakers in my Cruiser + a sub-woofer ( 2 speakers in front, 2 small speakers in the roof, 2 small speakers in the back & 2 big speakers in the doors + the sub-woofer in the back ) which came from TOYOTA right from the factory does all the speakers will be operational or not ?
4- Please advise me if anything i should be aware of since i can't reach you by phone before i buy this kit if everything went well in the above questions ?

- Both the S2 and the Nexus 7 are A2DP-capable.  Can they both be paired with the MKi unit?  Can they both be simultaneously connected to the MKi unit by virtue of "dual mode"?
- If music is being streamed from the Nexus 7 and a phone call comes in on the S2, will the MKi unit interrupt the music stream and switch to the phone call as expected?

My questions about this proposed setup:
1. The wiring schematic in the installation manual shows "Line-out 1" and "Line-out 2" wire pairs.  Is Line-out 1 the left stereo audio and Line-out 2 the right stereo audio?
2. It appears that the line-out wires are bare and have no termination (connector).  Can a standard RCA connector just be crimped onto each line-out pair to facilitate connection to an amplifier?
3. What is the pre-amp voltage on the line-outs?  How much wire length is acceptable between the MKi unit and the amplifier before a line output converter is needed?

I've been having some issues with the remote of my mki9200 for quite some time.
Initially it would fail to pick up the clicks and movements of the wheel every now and then, not I'm lucky if it works at all.
I read that it could be a battery connection and that i should bend slightly or add support to the battery contact.
I did this, and it hasn't improved.

Any idea how to fix it?
if it can't be fixed, does this problem sound like a remote only issue and getting a new remote will fix it?

The controller seemed to have a rubbery finish to begin with.  Much like the interior of my 2000 Jetta had...

Ive tried several cleaners, hot hot water, etc, and I cant seem to get it clean. 

I know I can buy a new remote from Parrot...for $40.  I asked about just getting new buttons, but I guess thats not an option.  I would rather not spend the $40 on it. 

Anyone else have this issue?  Or should I just suck it up and buy the new controller. 

BTW..this didnt bother me until I got a new car with a nice interior and now the thing sticks out like a sore thumb haha.

I can't seem to find a definitive answer to this so I'm hoping I can on this forum!  (I *thought* I posted this earlier but it did not seem to be there when I looked later!)

I'm thinking about going with a Parrot solution for my car (2004 BMW M3) so as to BT stream music from my phone (Galaxy Nexus) and hands free telephone, but since I choose to use the google/android nav vs. the BMW factory nav, I want the turn by turn announcements to come over the car's speakers; turning the music off temporarily...

Is this how it works or no?  Any MKi series that does this or not?

OBJECTIVE: Active BT connection with volume set to audible level for phone calls, GPS, etc., WITHOUT music playing.

Having done my due diligence to search for similar topics I have come up empty, with the possible exception of this post: http://forum.parrot.com/usa/viewtopic.php?id=1427
to which there was never any reply.

In case I haven't been clear, setting the radio volume to a level that makes any output audible (Parrot prompts, calls, MP3 music) results in needing to either having a call active (muting everything else), MP3 active on the phone (which mutes the radio) to have the radio quiet. Of course, pausing MP3 music reactivates the radio. And if I turn the radio off, or even down, I won't be alerted to a call and can't hear the GPS phone ap prompt me for a turn.

There is a possible solution in adding a blank MP3 track and setting the Music player options to loop the track continually, but seriously that's a back-woodsy-low-tech solution. Am I missing something? Seems like this should be achievable. Thanks for any advice.

-Start truck, iPhone 4S pairs to Parrot.
-Radio is playing, press play on phone music app, Parrot 'takes over' and begins to play music via Bluetooth from phone.
-Press stop on phone, Parrot 'releases' speakers, radio begins to play.

Similar to above happens when receiving, placing a call.

I'm sure this is a simple question for someone who owns a unit, but I just want to make sure it does these things before I purchase!

Questions:

(1) Is there any way to get the MKi9200 to recognize songs that are in the cloud on iTunes Match?

(2) If not, is there any way to avoid the "Accessory Connected" screen, such that I can locate and play songs in the could from my iPhone?

I realize that I can avoid this problem by using Bluetooth or the headphone jack connection. But I would prefer to use the actual iPhone connection, if possible, and still play my songs from iTunes Match. Thanks!!!

I'm thinking about purchasing a parrot mki9200 in combination with my iphone5. But I have a few questions :

- can I use the lightning adapter to connect my phone that will be in a passive carholder so that I can charge it? (As there is an "old" connection to the mki9200)
- I have gps-software on my phone, will the spoken instructions be streamed to my car speakers?
- Can I play music from my phone at the same time?
