Best EQ Setting

Hi everyone. Ive never settup an EQ before i got the Parrot and was wondering what the best settup would be for a crisp clean sound but with some bass for my subs. Hope someone can help thanks.

Hi, I consistently use bluetooth audio whenever I get in my car. However, everytime I have to scroll through the selections on the stereo to return to bluetooth audio. Is there a way for the stereo to remember my last choice and start here so I don't always have to scroll around? That would be extremely helpful.

Bluetooth Calls do not show the correct phone number

Hi, I have bluetooth calling setup, but for some reason the phone numbers being displayed on the screen are always incorrect. Any idea why the phone numbers are incorrect? They seem to just show a random phone number.

Asteroid Freezes

I've had my Asteroid for 4 months now. Most times I'm in the car, I don't even use it. It has performed fairly normally over all this time. There have been a few pops and re-boots, but mostly I treat it like a computer and do not mess with it until a few minutes after it has fully booted up.

Today was the hottest day we've had since I purchased the unit. I took the faceplate off, then put it back on. Nothing. Did this again, then the unit booted. I think I listed to the radio a bit. Was in and out of the car a couple of times during the day. Tonight, when I powered up, the screen froze on the clock. I took the faceplate off and put it back on. Same thing. Turned the engine and power off -- screen still stayed on frozen clock display. I had to reset to turn off. But, when I turn back on, the same thing.

The Asteroid takes a long time to boot, the Welcome chime sounds different, and it freezes as soon as it gets to the clock display. This has never happened before.

Any suggestions?

Background on my unit.. rooted with wireless LAN, an ftp server, [couldn't get any ssh servers to work] and pretty much have the scripting done so that any things I need to load into the unit from the warm cozy chair done.. I have a 32gb SD/HC main card that holds just about all the tunez/maps I need. Well I was working on my db for the routines and I thought.."HMM I better make it so the scripts can find the proper drive on the asteroid to update the playlists properly" So for shtz n gigglz I took the 8gb usb thumb-drive from the hidious pioneer 6200bt still in the car and attached it to the headunit...now the gracenote does find and plays the content...but I can not access/find the drive with es file explorer...
Has anyone found a method to browse an attached USB hard drive??

British accent gone!

Well duh, changed from uk p5 to US p5 only in that I was hoping to get better resolution on the AM channels. UK AM goes by 9mHz increments while US is 10. At any rate, was surprised to see the talky voice british accent is gone, replaced with an american sounding one.

It would be nice if it were possible to select the voice style (erm accent in this case) and retain local functionality. That or allow AM step size change.

The british accent seemed more appropriate in my MINI.

Spotify Closes

After installing spotify and signing in, I tried accessing my playlists and I wasn't able to. It had to force close and then I had to reboot for the features to be used. I tried accessing 3 times and every time it did the same thing. Any help?

Hi guys. I'm an avid Waze user. I was wondering if there is a way for me to hear the audio from my phone without disconnecting the Bluetooth connection? Also, in regards to the Parrot Asteroid Waze app, is there a way for me to listen to the radio and hear Waze at the same time? It kinda irks me when all i can hear is Waze. Need some music!

Edit: I have a Jailbroken iPhone 5.

I can't adjust for Daylight savings time with 2.0 beta. There is no check box in day/time settings.

Power antenna does not go down until power off

I recently installed my Parrot asteroid classic. I've noticed that the antenna ALWAYS goes up, even if I am not listening to the radio. The only way to get then antenna to go down is to power off the unit (no clock, no display, dark).

Is this normal?
Is there a way to make the power antenna go down without powering it off?

See Clock when Music is playing

How does one view the clock when music is playing? Seems like a simple thing, but I can't seem to figure it out. I either have to stop playback or navigate through settings to time settings and view the time there. Isn't there a way to switch between clock view and playing now view, without stopping playing now?

humming/hissing/static from speakers even when audio on mute

installed the headunit today, turns on etc and plays music. however theres a constant hissing staticy sound coming through the speakers.

the headunit is currently configured so that an amp is hooked up to the pre outs on the back for the speakers (not sure if this makes a difference). its weird in that I can still hear the tiniest bit of audio coming through even if i've put the unit on mute.

not sure what to do, i've performed a factory reset however might try updating to the current beta to rule software issues out.

Screen worked now its def messed up.

So I just got my parrot a few days ago... The features are awesome and I really liked how it looked and everything but right after I got home from having it professionally installed bam screen is unusable.

I updated to the new software and even during the update the screen washes out to all white.... I havent seen anyone having similar problems.. Im really disappointed.....
