Topic: Homebrew remote control / Unika - MKi9200 9100 9000
Hi everyone,
From reading online I have read on http://forum.parrot.com/english/post.php?tid=9576, that you cannot have more than one wireless remote paired to a parrot kit.
Can anyone else please confirm this, I have been investigating "learning" remotes such as this http://newton-security.com/?Product/Product36/86.html
I know from the FCC report for the MKi9200 remote that the remote is a transmitter only (so it talks only one way, to the car kit), and transmits at 433.92MHz.
I hope it's not a rolling code, but I know that you have to "pair" the remote to the car kit. Though each remote could have a unique ID code, which would rule out rolling codes.
Basically I want to control my MKI9200 from a microcontroller, (I.E. a netduino), but also use the original remote.
So I could use two remotes, one original and one which the codes cloned, if I can clone the code.
Or find a way to emulate the Parrot Unika unit's commands which are sent via the 4 pin connector to the Parrot "Blue Box".
Does anyone else have any more infomatrion which could help?
Many thanks,
Richard
