...you can begin to use MKi's feature while resynch is in progress.
Only partially true! You can't make PHONE CALLS!
Of all the shortcomings (that might be able fixed with software) of the MKi devices, (shiny music playback from USB, inability to handle Bluetooth Audio seemlessly from the remote, worthless color screen since none of the things you want to put on the screen are implemented well, poor upgrade process, barely brushing a button on the remote starts music playing, or stops it, or skips forward or back, etc) this one is the most annoying! I mean, the main purpose of this device is to make phone calls. EVERY time I get in my car, I have to wait a minute while it syncs the same contacts it synched 20 minutes ago the last time I got in the car before I can make a call.
THIS HAS TO BE FIXED! (Oh, and while you are fixing this, how about doing something about not hijacking my Wife's cell phone and trying to sync with that every time I come home, only to shut the car down right in the middle of the sync?)
OUR CONTACTS DO NOT CHANGE THAT MUCH!
Heck, I'd be happy if it only synched on demand.
I mean, really! You can't start Bluetooth Audio automatically when I get in, but you insist on synching contacts EVERY time? Madness.
The parrot MKi devices try to do a good job, but the little annoyances are so voluminous, that they just stack up to the point where I wouldn't recommend this device to anyone!
