Topic: Blackberry 8800 issue transferring addressbook

To whom it may concern,

I have a Parrot CHK 3000 Evolution, firmware 5.05 and a BlackBerry 8800 with BB OS 4.5.(latest release for BB)

When I transfer contacts from the BB, I get a message from the Parrot, saying "contact made".  Unless I am misunderstanding it.  The BB says the transfer is complete but nothing is on the Parrot...as far as I can tell.

The process I followed is:

    * Select Voiceprints on Parrot
    * On BB, select transfer addressbook
    * BB says transfer in progress and then complete
    * Parrot says something like "contact made"

But...I am never asked to pronounce the name of any of the contacts.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you,

You can review this article to see to transfer address one at a time to the  Evolution.

To transfer the contact list you will want to put the Parrot into the contact receive mode. Once the Parrot is in this mode you will want to go back to the Main Bluetooth menu, OPTIONS/BLUETOOTH, you will then want to select the PARROT and choose TRANSFER ADDRESS BOOK, on some devices it may be called TRANSFER CONTACTS. When you choose this it will transfer the contacts in which we included in the previous setting we changed. This should work, as long as you fall within the limitations of your Parrot phone book , this even works on our more basic units, the CK3000 evolution and PARROT MINIKIT, that only allow you to transfer a single contact at a time, you simply need to make sure that you choose categories that only contain a single contac
