Topic: Lack of updates
When I originally purchased the LS3200 I thought it was better than a dozen other products that I had tried; even though it had plenty of short comings it seemed to be the best available; including better than motorola's best, which you would think would lead the industry. I'm getting ready to buy another bluetooth car kit or bluetooth radio more likely, but I am hesitant to buy another product from Parrot. In the many years since my original purchase the technology has grwon, but parrot seems to have stood still. I have version 2.11c (which is not listed in the read me file) and the only other upgrade since than has been 2.11d which only had improvements for the iPhone; even though there are many other bugs to the system and lots of room for improvements. It doesn't seem that Parrot has invested much in keeping its product up to date or improving it as you find with other industries who provide technology. When was the last time you paired a phone with this unit and were able to select something other than "other" device. Recently I purchased the Blackberry Storm and though it does display the name and number from my directory now, where my KRZR K1M did not; it has no audible menu prompts; just the tones (I know it's a new phone). Also a problem that has existed on all three phones I have used with the LS3200 over the years is that when receiving a call while on a call, the caller ID displays the same name as you are currently on and not the new call. This has never been fixed by Parrot.
Although it seems there aren't many replies in this forum, Anyone have any thoughts, ideas or opinions to what I have just written.
