Topic: mki9200 with iPhone 3GS: upgrade firmware from 1.10?

My partner got her Parrot installed last week. Most of the times, it seems to work OK - it has the old firmware 1.10 installed.
However, I came across a few weird issues: when music plays over bluetooth, it sometimes stops and the only way to get it back on is by restarting the car. Also, when switching from bluetooth connectivity to the wired connection, the system seems to freeze as well.
The Parrot does work well for calls so far (which is the reason she got it in the first place), and I don't want to mess that up by upgrading firmware.
I read a few posts from people here saying that upgrading from 1.1x to 1.2x did sometimes result in more issues - but I also saw a post from someone saying that all his troubles were gone after upgrading to v1.24. Would you say it's safe to upgrade from v1.10 to v1.24?

I'll be interested in any replies to this, as I am having the same issues.  Mine runs release 1.1 also.  Just installed it, and using the wired connection right now.  Music stops after just a few seconds using an iPhone 3Gs.

Today I upgraded the software to version 1.24.  Problems are all gone.  Music plays, it mutes when a call comes in.  So far so good.
