New Mki9200 and iPhone 3G questions

I just had an Mki9200 installed over the weekend and so far (with firmware 1.22f), it appears to be working great, but I have a few questions that the documentation just doesn't cover.

First of all, I have a mount for my iPhone (3G, 16GB) in my car, so I keep it connected with the Parrot dock connector so that it charges while I'm in the car. The issue here, though, is that when it's connected via the dock connector, the Parrot automatically starts playing music stored on my iPhone. Is there anyway to turn this off?

And, is there an easy way to transfer the pictures for the contacts on my phone to the Mki9200? It doesn't seem to want to do it automatically and I would like to not have to load them separately if I can avoid it.
