Topic: Parrot CK3100 rejecting Motorola Droid 2 Global

Just bought a pre owned truck with the parrot CK3100 installed. I enable bluetooth on my droid 2, go to bluetooth settings, click scan for devices, and the address of the parrot comes up. On the parrot I go to devices, and there are two selections for "motorola phone" and a couple of other random devices the guy had. I click connect on either one of them and it says "connecting" on both devices and then "pairing failed" I've tried everything I can think of. What else can I do? Is this a droid issue or a parrot issue?

Hi lochenjons,

you should first check for CK3100's software version. To do so, go into settings then information menus. Latest version is 4.30. If you do not have this version installed, you should make sure to update your CK3100 (check the device's manual online to learn how to).

Also, you should removed any previously paied phones from the CK3100 memory (go into the settings menu).

Finally, check for installation: when you turn the truck off: does your CK3100 displays a "Goodbye" message ? If not, it would imply a wrong installation.
