you can buy them here:
http://www.justcarkits.co.uk/acatalog/P … ables.html

but they are in Europe, so they are expensive. I emailed them asking for detailed cable info, but I got "info not available" response.

Re: Parrot Serial Cable?

If anyone is in the Boston MA area and needs an update shoot me a message.  I just purchased one and would be willing to do the update for free as long as you come to me.

Re: Parrot Serial Cable?

Hi

Can someone who already has a parrot ck3000 serial or usb cable take a photo of the end of their cable with the JP4 connector? I am willing to play with an interface and document the results, I appreciate the cable is only £30, but this is far more fun.

I understand that pin 7 is ground and that the data pins are between 1,2 and 4?

Also that the power has to be connected as the flash programme starts to initialise the procedure?

A photo or two would be very helpful.

I ordered that one too, I also ordered the old school MAX232 serial port type just incase of issues. I tried using one of these USB ones a few years back but couldn't get the drivers for my 64bit PC, no doubt things have moved on now with 64bit being mainstream. The MAX232 one arrived first, I'm still waiting for the USB one, I have an old laptop with a serial port so I was able to use that.
