Radio cuts out when charging Motorola V323i

Hi,

I have the CK3000 Evolution hands free kit installed in a 2004 Ford F150 and it works great except for one thing.  Whenever I connect the car charger to the phone, the radio is muted by the car kit.  I have resorted to charging the phone at home, rather than in the car to avoid this, but I would like to correct this problem.  Any ideas as to what could be causing this and how to fix it?
